66 coronet heater cables

Hey guys with 66/67 coronet hardtop non-ac cars.
I have a 66 coronet 500
Have you replaced the temp and control cables?
If so what did you use?
I can't seem to find them

Are the cables under dash? If so they're fresh air vents. Heat is in speedo cluster.

Fran,
The cables work off the control levers that are just above the radio. One lever controls the temp and the the other controls the flow position, both cables are behind the dash panel connected to the levers and the heater box.
You are correct that there is a vent cable also for fresh air connected
