66 Coronet Radio Delete?

I'm installing a hidden sound system and will not be using the stock radio, should I just leave it in or go with the delete plate? I already removed the stock speakers (car came with the front and rear with the fader switch mounted under the dash).
Does anyone have a radio delete for a 66 Coronet?
