hey guys, thinking about getting this setup but before I buy (on-line) I would like to know if they fit as it will be a pain to cross the border to return them. This is what I'm thinking:
Rear
AR torque thrust II Aluminum, Chrome PVD, 15 in. x 8.0 in., 5 x 4.50 in. Bolt Circle, 4.50 in. Backspace WITH 255/60 BFGs

Front
Wheel, Torq-Thrust II, Aluminum, Chrome PVD, 15 in. x 7.0 in., 5 x 4.50 in. Bolt Circle, 3.76 in. Backspace
225/60 BFGS

Will this setup fit?? I have front disc and rear drums. 1966 satellite

Thanks for any help.

Without heavy pounding and the stiffest suspension, you'll shred 245s.
Tub it out if need meats.

I have a 66 Belvedere Convertable WITH 255 60 15 ON 8 inch wheels, do not know the back space but have to check this weekend. The driver side touches the inner fender when car is loaded with 3 passengers. air shocks stops the issue but is not the proper fix. This is something I need to address. I had 225 60 on the front with no issues but my wheel width was only 6 maybe 6.5 and it wasn't enough. Was planning on going to an 8 inch front wheel along with the 225 60 15.

I hated the 5.5 inch factory rims on my Belvedere II conv, but wanted to keep the 66 spinner wheel covers. Found a burned 1980 Mercury Marquis at Les Lawson's yard.
7 inch wide 14 inch rim.
Had to open the center hole by 3/8 or so.
G70-14 Firestone Red lines look much better on the wider rim.
Never had rubbing issues in 39 years.

I've got 275/60-15's on a 15x7 with 4 3/8" BS on my 66 Satellite. No mods what so ever. Fits

I suppose that is the only way to go. I tried 15x8 on a 4.5" BS and they rub on the
ridge on the outside wheel well.

I think i'm going to end up with these on 15x7 on 4.5" BS for 28" slicks
