Gents, still looking for that first Mopar. Had a seller back out on a 65 and left me hangin so the search goes on. I found a 66 for sale that was a 383 auto, replaced with a 400. It has the 150 speedo, AC, PW, buckets w/center console. very straight and rust free but needs lots of love in and out. I'm not looking for a restoration project just a good driver but I'm curious if this one has a little more collector value since it's a Sport Satellite, even without the original motor. I want to build a 440 for it regardless. He's asking $4500 in non-running condition and he seems to be a straight shooter. I will ask for the fender tag info as he is 2 hours from me. Thanks Gents.

Sounds like a good deal...You do know that the 400 is a really good engine to build up also....I,d keep the 400 and build it up a little...Check out these guys...www.440source.com.They have all the goodies for motor builds...Sounds like a good car!!!I love the 66 and 67 b bodies!!!

The 400 makes a good screamer even if you keep the stock stroke. Good thing about that is a stock forged crank drops in but the 400 cast crank is also a good piece. And don't be afraid of mom's stock cast cranks. Unlike the GM cast cranks, mom's don't break.

Thanks for the info guys. Starting to uncover some finds out there, none are local though.

Wow, sounds just like one I looked at years ago. It's not blue, is it?

i'm going to bet it is red oxide primer haha if it is I know the guy.

No its white on gold. Haven't been there to look at it yet.

Well, what are you waiting on!? I missed out on a rust free Road Runner because I didn't jump on the deal...
