Hey gang just found a 68 charger paint code 661 which I think is the same as f8 in 69 but all 68s I have seen are not this shade most are GG1 which is alot darker is this color rare and does anyone have a 68 charger with the 661 paint code

661 on a fender tag for the 1968 model year means dark green upper body color dark green lower body, are you sure that what you are reading as 66 is not actually GG which is racing green?

yes it is 661 I looked it up in an old ppg paint chip book and it was called a spring color for late 68s an became f8 in 69 I had a 68 GTX it was GG1 alot darker green
