Just scored a console tach for my '67 Satellite and looking for a few pieces for mounting it. It came with the spring, nut and washer that fits on the post.

Im looking for:
  1. Hole template(picture or hard copy)
  2. Install instructions(picture or hard copy)
  3. White plastic mounting plate, screws and nuts
  4. Measurements of white plastic mounting plate(may be able to make one out of 1/16" ptfe or plastic)

If you can provide any of the above items please contact me with cost + shipping to 95608. It would be appreciated.

Thanks

underneath the plate should be a punchout mark for the mount hole location as far as those other parts you may be out of luck I made my own plastic piece from pictures and the tach in my hand came out pretty good I was missing the washer as well had to make that as well

Yes, my last resort will be to make one. That is why the line drawing, I made that off the picture as well. But Im hoping to get lucky either here on FBBO or Ebay.

Good to know (about punchout mark). Ill look for it.
Thanks

if you can determine the size of the hex nut, then you could estimate the plate dims accordingly by proportionate measurements, etc. PITA I realize, but...........

or one of the members may have an old console plate where the plastic tach plate outline is visible and could trace it for you.

Thanks for your response. I'm thinking Ill give it a couple months trying to find a copy of the template and/or plate, if something doesn't come up then I will have to try to basically wing it. Ill post a thread asking for any assistance I can get with measurements or whatever and see if I can get some help from members. I'm pretty sure I can get it figured out but it would be nice if I could find someone with the template for drilling the holes.

Did you check for the knockout the smaller holes may be there as well do not know for sure, as for the dimensions the bottom of the tach is the correct circular size that is needed for the size and you can work off that

I haven't. I was going to do that this weekend but Im pretty sure you are right.

I saw one on Ebay that showed the backside and all the holes are there. That makes things very easy. I can make the plastic plate that's not a problem. Plus found a guy on there that makes the wiring harness with connectors for everything. Should make it pretty idiot proof.

If you can make that your self you can make a harness as well I overpaid someone to make mine not worth it
