I have a passenger defroster vent out of my parts car 67 coronet that a guy I know wants to buy from me and I was wondering if any of you gentlemen knew what a good asking price for this piece would be? One edge is broken off but I still have it and I'm sure it could be glued on or something of the sort, I will attach a picture. Any help if appreciated because I don't want to rip somebody off but I also want a good price. Thanks

I've sold a repaired set with similar damage for 15 each but I've seen people asking outrageous money for them. I try to be fair in pricing as I am MOPAR first and sell my parts to purchase things I need for my own R/T project. NOT TRYING TO GET RICH. JMO

Hey, how did you guys actually repair this part. I'm going to have to repair mine pretty soon. Thanks!!

I used jb weld quick to hold it together then regular jb weld to reinforce it. Then used a carbide bit to clean up the holes, a drill bit would have worked too.

I was looking EVERYWHERE for that part over the summer and I would have given you more than $25 for it! Don't know why they don't repro them, but they just aren't out there, even as scrap parts. We had to fix the broken ones that had already been repaired at least once already.

Yeah pretty sure I could have gotten more but I know the guy and I'm sure he will help me out it the future. I also looked everywhere online and couldn't find anything, a company really should reproduce them.

You did the right thing--my comment was just about how desperate I was and how some of these parts are so scarce. There's no rhyme or reason as to why there are similar parts (just like these vents) that are reproduced for other years and other cars, but not these (which fit a wide variety of Mopars). I agree that this is a great place for exchange--the members here have helped me and I am forever grateful!
