67 belvdere bumper ?

I was just wondering if 700.00 is too much to get rear bumper straightened and rechromed,isn,t bent bad just in the corners are pushed in abit.The chrome shop said price would start at 700.00 and go up depending

700 and up seems a litttle high. I had the bumpers on my 66 rechromed last year and Tri-City charge me $475 each. They did a very nice job.

I would hope that for a little more than that you would get front and rear done

Got my `66 bumpers from Tri-City as well. A year ago it was $410 for the rear shipped to my door. $375 when I swapped the front one-for-one at the swap meet in Carlisle, PA. They charged me $5? a hole for filling rubber trim holes. Taking out dents, welding cracks is part of the deal for them. They also warranty their work for as long as you own the car. The guy told me all they do is bumpers. I thought the holes they filled were a bit pronounced when I got the rear bumper back. Called them up and they explained sometiimes the welding process 'pulls' the metal up, but that if I was not happy then to put iit in the mail...no questions asked. Got it back several weeks later and all is well. Can't say I have experienced another company like them with their willingness to make sure the customer is getting a good product. Is it concourse level chrome?...to some maybe, but probably not. Is it better than NOS or factory chrome?...you bet. For me it was money well spent.
