Hi everyone. Someone may have asked this before but I can’t find the thread. Trying to get my 67 charger factory gauges up and running...the guy who I bought the car off installed an aftermarket temperature gauge....I can see where that is connected to the water pump but there is also another threaded post connector on the front of the pump facing forward towards the radiator that. The aftermarket gauge is screwed in to the top. Anyone have a picture or some insight as how to hook it up correctly and remove the aftermarket? I just had the whole cluster restored so the gauge itself is fine. Thanks for any help!

On my 66 it's between the thermostat outlet and towards the power steering pump bracket on the drivers side.

Thanks guys! I got it all figured out! I wasn’t aware that there were multiple locations to mount the sensors. So with your message r/t I knew which position was correct. The guy who put in the aftermarket just used a different spot instead of the original, so he never removed the original. That’s why I was confused But all good now. It was the same for my oil pressure gauge. Thanks so much Don and R/T!
