1966 and 1967 Chargers
1967-Las Vegas car, 99% rust free, have title.
Professionally rebuilt 440 with two rebuilt Carter AFB 4-BBL carburetors on low-rise Offenhauser 360 Intake. 10:1 compression-comp cams PN 12-235-2 Grind #CSX4254H-11. Headman Hedders, Flow Master mufflers, electronic ignition, MSD wires and coil, updated charging system, new alternator, starter, and battery. Aluminum radiator and electric fan, have receipts on engine and Dyno sheet. Engine has under 1,000 miles on it.
Front steering and suspension rebuilt, after market sway bar, front disc brakes, new master cylinder, calipers, pads and hoses. New front bearings and seals, new rear wheel cylinders and shoes.
I was told the transmission is a “Hemi” 4-speed. Hurst competition shifter Lakewood scatter shield , and new clutch. Rebuilt and balanced drive shaft, rebuilt rear end with new 3.23 gears.
Under body, frame, trunk, etc. are very clean. The only place I saw that was bubbling up was on the drivers quarter panel behind the wheel at the very bottom. Car has been painted for over 10 years, but paint isn’t very nice and quite a few dings were not taken care of.
Interior- both sets of bucket seats are recovered and there is a new 28 piece carpet set in the box. Everything else should be useable, but will need attention. Other new items are shocks, gas tank, and rubber hoses, windshield and seal, trunk mat and spare tire cover.
Have a few parts that go with, too. Black seat belts, arm rests, floor shift column, trim, etc. (See pics) I have been driving the car this summer. I had the front end aligned and it really drives and stops well. Lights and wipers work, but headlights don’t open on their own.
1966 Charger-Wisconsin car-Have title
No engine or transmission-was a 361 automatic car with AC according to VIN. 8 ¾ rear end, ? gear ratio. Has rust, but very restorable, good torque boxes and frame rails, floor pans pitted but have very few small through holes. Interior mostly complete, very nice padded dash.
No grill, bumpers, or taillights. Most of exterior body trim missing. Was considered a “parts car” for the ’67.
I’m asking $14,250 for the pair, or willing to listen to reasonable offers.
