Hi all, I'm pretty new to the whole restoring a car process was wondering if in the event of my headlight motors not working what kind of tools will I need to figure out what and where the problem is? Such as a voltmeter or whatever else I might need.

Hey Captain, First you should get a schematic and a voltmeter. If you Goggle "66 Charger schematic" you will find many available. If you are doing a restoration, you may want a reproduction shop manual available here...

There is an interior circuit breaker behind the drivers side kick panel for the headlight motors. May want to start there.. The 3 relays you will see on the schematics that control the motors is behind the glove box. If you want to get your motors refurbished contact

Much appreciated, I've got the 66 year service manual so I should have all the diagrams I just wasn't too sure on what tools I would need! Again thanks for the info!

66 and 67 have different wiring diagrams, try to use 67 just in case for your car. They are similar, probably be okay for headlights, but not necessarily anything else.

Sorry.. Meant to refer to a 67 in my previous post.
