Good morning. I am new to this forum and am excited there is help available for "B" body owners. I am restoring a 67 Dodge Charger. I started this project with my middle son several years ago and lost him in an accident, so I am now trying to get it completed in his honor. I need help in locating where the power transformer for the dash lights is actually mounted. I read several articles that it is below or to the left of the glove box. Is there a photo available as to where this power supply actually mounts. Any help is appreciated.

The EL power pack mounts on a bracket on the forward dash frame under the glovebox. There is a picture of the powerpack on my website, www.thegaugedoc.com.
Sorry to hear about your son...

Hope that helps,

Mark

Hello Mark.....thank you for the reply. I am looking for a picture or a drawing as to where it actually sits under the glove box. I have tried to match up mounting holes to the powerpack to the holes in the lower dash, but am coming up empty. My son graduated from Nashville Auto Diesel College with degrees in Auto body technology ....he loved to do body work and paint. The body shop he worked for finished the body and paint work for me and helpped me with some cost in his honor. He was a good son....sorry for going on.....looking forward to getting it completed.

Carl,

The powerpack attaches to a bracket that mounts on the forward edge of the dash frame....

Thank you both....I now realize I am missing the bracket the EL mounts to which mounts to the underside of the dash. I will look through my parts boxes once again to see if I can locate it...and if not I believe I can make one. Attaching a couple pictures

Again...thank you

Carl
