I just thought I'd give a little insight into the blue 1967 Coronet Convertible for sale on e-bay, in case someone here is interested.
I was the previous owner that was unfortunate enough to have been hit by someone who ran a red light. I must say that everything in the description is correct (although I don't know what they did with the air cleaner); the listing just happens to omit the fact that the frame is twisted. Repair estimates were anywhere between 25 and 30K.
It's hard to really see that in the pictures. I also happen to know that the salvage company paid the insurance company $5500.
I'm not trying to dissuade anyone from buying the car, but I just want to assure that he/she has all the pertinent information prior to any purchase. I'd be happy to give any further insight, just shoot me a PM.
