67 coronet front park lights

I just finished installing New headlights and parking lights. I painted all the headlights buckets and grille. I put the bumper back on. I got the tail lights back in. All the lights and blinkers work. Hazard lights don't come on ( not real worried about that ). I deleted the fender turn signals. Question is.....The front parking lights go off when I pull the headlight switch all the way out to turn on the headlights. Is this normal? Seems odd to me.

Thats the way it is on my car too... Thought the same thing!

That is normal on a 67 B-body. Before you go crazy on fixing the 4 ways, try taking the switch out, take it apart and clean the contacts. Works most of the time.

Don't you need a special socket to get the switches off the bezel?

Yes you do..if you want to do it correctly.

But with a pair of long nose needle pliers you can do it as well. Be careful and make sure you are not rotating the entire assembly. I have done it this way. But this summer I had my dash out a few times so I just bought the correct tool from ebay.

ANd my parking lights go out when the headlights are on too. 67 Corrie 500.
