Hi, new to this forum. Just picked up a 67 GTX and only got to drive it a few times before winter came around. Anyways, the car is what appears to be a very original 67 GTX convertible. The car came with the original (not repro) window sticker and broadcast sheet. Both say the car came with 'deluxe wheel covers'. Does ayone know if the ones in my attached pic are the correct deluxe wheel covers for a 67 GTX? Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the quck response. As much digging as I did, I could not verify the difference between the sport and deluxe. This is perfect. Seems as though my covers are not correct. I don't particularly love the hubcaps, I prefer magnums. But I also like originality, especially in this car that is very tight all around. This is going to make me have a decision over the winter: keep as is with incorrect covers, hunt down some correct ones, or just put on the magnums that I prefer. Decisons decisons... what are your thoughts? Why the heck would someone replace the deluxe covers for another incorrect cap, why wouldn't they go with magnums? Wonder if this is something the dealership may have done? This car is very very original: matching numbers, sheet metal all original with spot welds and vin stamps.

The page pictured from CHS, is the deal. Yes the 'deluxe' cover is a very commonly outfitted cover for all the Belvedere line in 67. The 'sport' cover was the option, and I have seen them more on the Fury model, since that was optioned model. Naturally the "road wheel' looks great on the GTX. Hang onto your correct 14x5.5 stock wheels if they came on the car.

I know it was not an option but do yourself a favor and go to 15x6 wheels if you replace them. 14 x 5.5 where way undersized power wise.

Beautiful GTX if you don't mind me asking is that a 70 dart or demon by the side of that garage?

What 58* code is indicated on the window sticker and on the broadcast sheet?
What WHEEL COVERS code is indicated on the broadcast sheet?

On the window sticker, it is 581. On the bc sheet, its 10

These pics are the ones from the place I bought the car. That is a Dart in the background. Its built nicely.

Thanks for the messages guys! This forum is great for insight and help! I bought a set of the deluxe caps last night off Ebay.

If I had been buying new in 1967, I would have got the magnums. But those wheel covers are really sharp because today magnums are a dime a dozen. Keep the wheel covers.
