67 hood clearance

Anyone with a 67 Belvedere running a low deck with a performer rpm,holley pattern carb,and 3
" tall air cleaner? Any hood clearance issues?

Should be just fine !

Low deck should give you more clearance. My RB with a Performer RPM intake, 800 AVS2, 1/8" phenolic spacer & the 3" air cleaner is up close & personal with the hood.

I would think you'll be okay.
The low deck helps.
You will most likely need a dropped base aircleaner, you could use the bottom drop with an original top..... and use whatever thickness of a/c element that works.

1 inch? Probably not,
1/2 inch? Maybe.
2 inch, (like I run), nope.

I've got a 1" under a avs2 on a dp4b in my 65. The stud as short as it could be scraped the paint off the rib in the hood. I have a scoop and a big hole in the hood now! He has one of those silver belvederes,I kid him but I wouldn't cut it either.
