67 r/t back seat

How the heck does it come out? Does the back rest lift up? What about the base you sit on? Is it bolted in?

They're not bolted in. They are hooked in. Press down hard on bottom and push seat towards trunk

You will have to bend the tabs straight on back after the lower cushion is out!Pull out and up for the top cushion.

Bottom cushion push down and back at the same time.

for the part of the seat that you sit on you have to push the bottom of the seat that is close to the floor toward the back and as you are doing that you kinda have to lift up at the same time.There are two hooks under the seat.They are located about in the middle of each seat cushion underneath.If you can lift the edge of the seats up alittle, you can see what and how those seats come out.

My issue is the back rest, there's no way its coming out.

The backrest hooks are approximately 1 foot or so from top of each side. They point up like a coat rack. Grab bottom, push hard in up top first, then yank up.
