67 rt air cleaner

ok i have a question and cant seem to find answer anywhere so maybe somone here can help
I have a 67 r/t coronet one owner car and all original the first owners gone now he said he never changed anything on the car but it has a round air cleaner housing and I thought all 440 cars had the double snorkel could this be different due to it having a/c ?

That big yellow can "ain't stock" but the air cleaner sure does look original.

ok now ill have to teach you how to read a render tag that option is BYC1 lol
couldnt find a pic of the cleaner even in my service manual and have seen a few like this but many more with the double snorkel thanks for the imput purple beeper

My 67 rt hade the same lid but had a open bottom, same bottom that was used on the 68-69 performance engines. I have been looking for another. Is the one pictured above yours?

That's the wrong air cleaner for your car. You should just send it to me and I'll try to find it a good home.

yes the one pic is mine just started restoring the car and have seen both this type and dual snorkels wondering what the difference is

Where the car was originally sold might have some bearing on it having a silenced vs. unsilenced air cleaner. CA car by an chance? Not that I have anything to go on but wondering if it was an LA county thing or something. Does it have bright exhaust tips or turn downs out back?

turn downs but havent bothered to even look over exhaust to see if things were replaced at some time it was last on the road in 76 from ny inspection sticker. she will have a new pa insp sticker on it in a few weeks
