iam going through a 68 440 stock, need sujestions on a cam and carb to give it a little edge without changing things....

I would say Call, Comp Cams, Lunati, Isky, Crane etc. & Quickfuels Tech., Holley, Proform or ProMaxx carburetors etc., tell them what the car weighs, what gears, what converter, what manifolds int/ext & intended usage, they are the experts... None of them will steer you wrong... Even just a set of 1.6:1 rockers & proper length/style push-rods would wake it up some...
