68-69 B Body Dash a/c center vent bezel part 2947250

Is the center vent bezel a rallye or non rallye piece? I can’t remember if i ever had this piece on the back of center vent or if it was accidentally thrown away a couple yrs ago while restoring the entire dash. TIA

I’m trying to confirm if it came with rallye dashes or not before buying one. Would you happen to know?

I can't say for sure from experience, but it is suspiciously missing from the "Charger" body-style (29; sports hard top) column in that B-Body row of the parts manual. I believe the Charger was automatically equipped with Rallye gauges.

The more I research and gathering information I’m starting to feel like it’s a non rallye piece which means it wasn’t thrown away while taking apart my dash lol. Thanks!

The outer trim piece is non rallye dash only. The plastic vent assembly works on both rallye and non rallye dash.

I just noticed you said your Charger is a '68 - That prior parts catalog pic I posted was from the '69 catalog ...guess I only looked at the title.

For what it's worth, apparently the "equivalent?" '68 part (2864291) fit all model/panel versions? You should verify further as needed. My Charger is a '68 w/ AC, but I've never pulled that bezel or even paid much attention to it, so again, no 1st-hand knowledge here. There's a few on Fleabay Motors searched under that part number.

I don’t recall seeing the piece while taking apart my dash and I would have remembered if I did. I only started questioning myself when I start seeing the piece online around or next to the center ac vents.
