I have a very nice 69 only Coronet trunk lid. Original paint with a couple small dings and some very minor surface rust. This is likely the hardest to find B body model trunk lid. 1968 and 1969 Coronet trunk lids are two different parts. If it has a keyhole in it, it is a 68, if not a 69. Your lid is a 69 because it doesn't have the lock mechanism in it.

That's a 69.... The styling line on a 69 is flat, 68 is not... FWIW there seem to be allot more good 69 deck lids than 68 deck lids..

All the 68's rusted along the front inside lip. I always suspected that might have been the reason for the redesign after only one year, although that would have meant they discovered the problem before the cars were even on the street, considering the lead time required to make a new die would have probably made it impossible.

I modified body of ad. This is a 69 lid....no key hole.

1 Wild RT has given you the correct information Joe.... that lid is off a 69 Coronet.
