68-70 B-Body Rear Power Window Convertible Pictures

I am trying to put Power Rear Qtr windows in a 68 Coronet Convertible. The car came in a basket , so I did not have the chance to take apart. The pictures in the Manual are only so good. Is there any better place to see install pictures or better yet, does anyone have pictures of the inside of the rear panel showing how it all goes together. I may be even missing parts , not sure . Thanks

The Flying Spaghetti Monster? I do not have power windows but I just did install rear manuals in my 1970 B-Body convert. The glass has 3 slots. The upper and lower are for the rollers that slide onto the front track. The middle slot is for the regulator arm and roller. I had to put e-clips on the back of these to get them to stay in place. The rear arm roller mounts in a small slide that bolts to the panel toward the rear of the car. The 2 studs stick through inner panel and nut from the inside of the car. The front hole is slotted, the rear is not. Save this one for last. The slot adjusts the window position as well as the 3 slotted holes that bolt the the regulator in. 3 slots are for front to back adjustment, the rear track slot is for tilt. Make sure the 3 fingers on the glass slide around the rear track, two on one side, the middle on the other. This acts as the rear track. I have a bulb out so if I get ambitious and take it apart, I will send you a picture.

Ken you'll get there. it just takes much longer than we ever anticipated.

Out of an abundance of laziness, I installed the windows and checked their operation prior to hanging the quarters. Of note: A lesson I learned on the GTX the hard way - If you operate the window with the galvanized guides removed (inside the car) the windows can rub against the inner structure and scratch the **** out of them. Convertible quarter glass of the non-scratched variety don't exactly grow on trees these days. Left meself are reminder......

Don't have any closeups of the tracks (plenty of those in pix above). Here are a couple from my 70RR vert showing motor orientation. Roller kit for vert is unobtainium AFAIK. Also a pic of glass installed. The toughest part of reassembly IMO was alignment of quarter and door glass. Adjustment of quarter panel rear guide is a PITA.
