I have a BBody Styling question that has bugged me for years . . . The only Design flaw on any BadAss 1968 through 1970 (Hardtop non-post) BBody is when all 4 windows are down you still have that hella ugly dated vent glass on your door / A pillar. If Man can land on the Moon cannot any Glass fabricator come up with new door glass that meets the A pillar so as to eliminate the funky vent window?!!! I don't care if you spend $200K on a RestMod Charger at SEMA; ALL I SEE is flat black paint trying to mask out the most glaring design flaw on the BEST PROFILE of any American car E V E R !
I would help fund the Auto Glass company that can solve this once and for all! BBody Forum; what do you say? Wouldn't your GTX Charger RR be that much cooler with a super clean NO side GLASS profile ?!

Not to mention it's a security issue if you don't have an alarm, but that's whole 'nother can of worms, heh. Interesting idea, I can picture the idea in my head, but I always just think of it as the "classic look", like most old 60's cars. It would look sweet with totally open windows from front to back and no post, IF you're going for that retromod look.

I loved being able to open the little vent window, especially for fresh air during rain.

You do know the only reason vent windows were removed from vehicles was to save manufacturing costs, right? They serve a nice function being able to control the airflow into the car. I just don't think enough would be sold to make it worth while for a comapny to develop since they would be car/ model specific.

nope. i wouldn't give up my nut cooler for nuttin.

When I bought my Roadrunner last year, I hadn't owned a car with vent windows for 20 years. I missed them so bad.

I would rather someone figure out a way to put them on my Jeep Cherokee than get rid of the ones on my 'runner.

Its been done for this movie Charger.

I don't know if its all that much of an improvement myself.

I love my vent window, I wish I had it in all my cars.

I like the functionality of the vent windows. It's one of the things that makes the style of old cars.
I didn't buy an old car to make it look like a new one.

drive one of our cars in 100 degree plus heat with no ac.you will kill for one of those ugly little *******!

Several drag racers have eliminated the vent wing on their NSS cars but they are using Lexan windows. Fugly is one of them. Even tho I think it looks good, I like having something to hang onto when the wing is open :D

On a side note, I opened it all the way on my dad's 66 belvedere (ended up mine later) one day and going down the road a bee caught it and ended up stinging my dad in the head. He wasn't a happy camper at that point lol. I was 16 at the time and he yelled at me to "leave my damned car alone" :D

there are cars with cigarette burns in the rear seats due to lack of vent wings lol!
