Pardon my ignorance but what is the difference between the '68 doors and the '69 and '70 Charger models? Thanks

The unlock mechanism on the top of the door is moved forward on the 69-70 doors. Other than that no difference.

isn't the outside door push button black in 68 , and then chrome in 69, 70 ?

Yes, and be assured if you have the wrong ones, there will be a uptight know-it-all to point it out to you, and will walk away feeling like he just saved the earth from certain destruction.

Exactly, I just had that happen at a recent show a few days ago. Instead it was about the 8 3/4 rear end. Since I converted to a 4 speed, I left the 8 3/4 in , and I did not replace it with a Dana. He says," hey, that is not a true 4 speed R/T, it should have a Dana. I know those things....." I said I know that, I converted it. Then he walked away..... I just mumbled a few things under my breath. It's my ride I thought and my driver not a trailer queen or trophy winner. I love it ,so who cares..... everybody else that saw it stopped by to chat, even a bunch of real Mopar guys and they thought it was great.............

The answers are correct, the next time someone starts to be technical ask them where there mopar is ftsasses

I ask them If I can go see theirs! Oh no, they came in a Toyota or some crap.
