Do the same screws hold both cluster to dash frame and trim piece?
Or do I mount the cluster with one set of screws then use the black Fillister screws for the trim?
It’s been a while and the original were a mix of mismatched screws.
Thanks

This might help, hopefully. The spring clip fasteners attach the lens assembly to the gauge housing. The short chrome-type screws attach the gauge assembly to the faceplate. The long black screws attach the entire item to the dashboard.

This might help...from left to right, at the bottom: push pin fasteners attach the lens assembly. Next, short screw attaches faceplate to the housing. On the right is the hole that receives the long black screw to attach to the dashboard, itself.

The glass is held to the cluster frame by metal push pins. Best to lay the face plate on the cluster housing and make note of the bezels holes. The cluster might have separate screws that hold it to the dash frame. Brain is a little rusty this morning.

Lens installed w push pins.
So the trim is screwed from the rear?
Then the whole assembly is held in as a unit to the dash with the fillisters?

So I got it now. Thank you both.
In my mind I was thinking I could leave the black trim piece off till the final interior was done so it wouldn’t get messed up.
After looking at my old pics I see I had the whole assembly out on the bench and the faceplate was attached.
Now to go out and install it.
Thanks again.

Sorry, I didn't get back in time. Yes, it is installed as an assembled unit, held together from the backside, by the smaller screws.
