68 Charger grill installation question

I am finishing up the grill restoration and I have the metal frame completed. Is it going to be easier to install the metal frame first and then install the plastic grill/headlight doors last, or should I plan on installing it as a complete assembly?

From what I have seen people do, they install the whole shabang at once. I own a 68 but have never had to remove the grill on mine yet.

I put mine all together on the bench and installed as a complete assembly. I'm sure that is the way the assembly line did it too.
