I have a couple questions for someone who knows more than me. My dad has a 68 Charger SE with a 383/727. We are needing to get a new power steering pump. It has the Federal style pump on it. It seems like no one sells the Federal style anymore. I have found a couple on ebay but I'm not positive if it will fit. The listing describes it fitting either a slant 6 or 318. If i'm not mistaken it should fit the 383 as well should it not? Also - and I should have asked first - does anyone know where I can buy a new or reman federal pump with reservoir? I have called one place and they said I needed to give them the casting number from the old pump, but surely there are not more thanone type of federal pump... am I wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated
