For those of you that are looking for a real, numbers matching 68 Charger R/T, we now have one. 440 Magnum, console 4-speed, Dana 60 with 3.54 sure grip, AM radio with factory rear speaker, rear defogger, tic-toc-tac. 1 of 2743 produced with the 440 and 4 speed. Showing 91K miles, it has been completely repainted B7 blue, and has a fresh Legendary black interior with the desireable headrests and a console. This is a fun car to drive and has very good eye appeal up close, as well as far away. Grille, chrome and lenses are in excellent condition, and the paint could pass as show quality.
At the time of the repaint, the trunk floor, quarters and floorpans were replaced. Frames were/are solid and needed no repairs. Engine, trans, body #'s, dash VIN, core support #, fender tag and title are all matching, as well as original to the car, and the only thing missing is a build sheet. It has the original exhaust manifods, full dual exhaust, and a new set of correct exhaust tips have been installed. Fender tag info shows it was a steel wheel car that probably had hubcaps of some sort. It now has a new set of 15 X 7 front and 15 X 8" chrome Magnum 500's with new BF Goodrich Radial T/A's, new center caps and lug nuts. Still has the left hand threaded studs and nuts on the left side. Interior is in excellent shape and seats are headrest type that have brand new Legendary covers, new black carpets and new rear package shelf cover. Dash face has been restored and has a correct AM thumbwheel radio. Has correct bumper jack and base, as well as a new trunk mat.
Paint is a very high quality job and the car is straight. This car can be considered 'investment grade', yet roadworthy and can be driven in a full range of traffic environments easily. Fly in/drive home, but common sense dictates that you bring a trailer. Car is located in Burlington Kansas 66839. More pics at
