I need some help deciding the kind of aftermarket radiator to put into my '68 charger. Its a big horsepower Indy Hemi. With all the different manufacturers out there what, is quality these days? The car will be driven on the street some, and will also spend some weekends at the strip. I assume the ole 4 core design is still best? I ve heard of top and bottom tank dual flow rads? What has worked for you? Or not worked?

You had me at big hp indy hemi.
I'll get you the brand thats in my 65 dodge. Great price and works awesome. It's an all aluminum one.

Nice ride !!
Love the retro paint !!
I have a custom alum. one from Mancini Racing {22" 4 core down flow in my 68 RR} love it , used a few of them now, on a couple projects, not too expensive & not cheap crap either, no cracks after 10+ years, never overheated yet, they will ask specifics water pump exit & hose style, A/N or what diameter for reg. hoses, I did a custom shroud {they have them too} & I used 2 Perma Cool electric fans too, 1 pusher 1 puller & a 37gpm electric pump in a alum. MP housing, all works great...

good luck & Happy Moparing

Don't buy a U.S. Radiator, my new one leaked and cost me $80 to have fixed.

I put a 26" champion radiator in my '68 Charger with the original direct drive mechanical fan. Idles at 185 degree in south Idaho summer heat over 100 degrees.

Your '68 has a F/C look to it!
Post up some pics when you get it done

Thank you! Glad to see my idea may have worked. I based the paint on a combination of 3 of my favorite Mopars, Dick Landys Chargers, Bob Banning's Challenger Funny Car and the Imperial Kustoms Charger funny car. I'm hoping to show it in public for the first time next month at Mopars in the Park, Farmington Mn. Lots left to do, I may have to push it into the the building, but she'll be there. Here is a close up my paint with the lace
