68 Charger rear wheel size

I had 15x10 5.5" backspace with 325 50 15s. They rubbed in extreme angles but with 275/60s no rubbing at all.

Excellent, this car will be used mostly to for straight lines so i think i'll investigate the 15x10 inch rims.

Sorry, this is likely sound stupid, but what do you mean by 5.5" backspace?
Want to make I'm fully understanding whats required to get larger tread under the back.

thanks again! Kane

Backspace is measured from the back of the wheel where the drum butts up against the wheel and then measured to the edge of where the tire bead seats. Look it up on google I bet there is a better explanation and Summit racing lists their wheels by the backspace.

This is mine with a 15x8" wheel with a 295/50/15 tire. I forgot what the backspacing it but it fills the wheel well pretty good.

Here is one with a 15x10 wheel and 325/50/15 tire

Thanks for the post, the 15x8 looks like its a pretty nice/full fit. A little difficult to see with the pictures, but that shot with the 15x10 325 sure does look pretty bad ***... Not sure it would be entirely legal in Oz, so will need to check that out. Are you 100% sure that would fit without any modifications, its looks massive!!??
