Hello Everyone, Just putting this information out there, just in case. I don't know if I will ever find it, but here is the deal. I have a 68 Coronet 500 2dr hardtop car, that was stored in a building at a good friend's house/property, in Kalamazoo County/ Near Gull Lake, in Michigan, and the car was stored there for about 5 years, or so, and the factory fender tag went missing, when my brother and I went and picked it up. Our friends not into Mopars, so it had to be someone that knew the car was in the building. My brother and I would like to get/have it back, whether it is on someone's car, screwed to there garage wall, or whatever. We know a lot about the car, and some options. The car is a factory 383/auto car, 8 3/4 rear etc. I know we could have one made, but highly interested in the original one. I will say this, there are other friends/people out there looking for it, besides us, so if you know who may have it, please contact us here on the site. We have the sequence number on the factory VIN tag. Also, the car is red/with black int, bucket seats, console auto, Rally Dash etc. Please help, if you can!! We don't want to get the law involved, especially if its found on someone's car, so just be a stand up guy, and return it!! Thank you very much, Dodge33

Your post makes it appear as if you think the VIN is on the fender tag. On a 68, the sales order number is on the tag, not the VIN. So to match the tag to the car, you'll need the last six numbers from the radiator support stamping.

You have a 68 Coronet 500 with a rallye dash? Interesting.....

Well.. my brother said it is a rally dash frame, and he knows more about it than me, so we will try asap to post up a pic of it. We are extremely busy getting ready for Carlisle, but will post up as soon as possible. Dodge33
