68 Coronet dash lights

Do you have to remove the dash pad to get the speedometer panel out ? I have no panel lights. bulbs are good. fuses are good car has been non opt for 7 years. Headlights & taillights work. Power to Alt gauge ok. temp and fuel not working either. I did try and remove switch panel but light switch side won't come loose. it's hard for a old fat man to get under dash to work on it, so just asking to see how to remove it to work on it easier.. Thanks
 
Check your grounds!!!! I know on My 68 Bee if the cluster is not properly grounded things do not work correctly. Jim
 
Dimmer switch ! At least that was my issue. Inside of it looked like an old green penny !!
 
Believe it or not soak it in clr and it will clean up if you want to re use ti
