68 dodge grill script

When installing the. D O D G E letters on the grill center of a 68 coronet 440, is there a washer or spacer used behind the nuts ? Anyone have a pic showing what was used ?

Nope just the speed nuts when I remove mine from the grill, all original IIRC.

Ok, thank you. Just looked like the old threads stopped short for the nut to bottom out.
