68 door locks on a 69

Hi, i need to buy new outer door locks looks like the previous owner lost the key. I found a 66-68 lock set for a good price. I know they moved the inner knob from back to the middle to prevent stealing but is the lock mechanism still the same in 1969?

Yes, outer door lock cyl is the same

Take the lock cylinders to a local locksmith they will have keys made in minutes. Or drive the car there.
