Will the floor pan from the 68 coronet 4 door swap into a 68 coronet 2 door as a unit? What will and will not work?

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure they are the same. An easy check would be to research the wheelbase on both models. If the WB is the same, then the floorboards are interchangeable....along with the frame rails, wheel tubs, trunk floor cowl section below the windshield posts, firewall....etc. Pretty much everything below the roofline not including doors and quarters.

A lot of people look past the 4 door cars because they aren't as cool as the 2 doors. Their dirty little secret is all the parts interchangability and a lot of times you can find really clean 4 doors for a lot less money. If you are ever looking for a parts donor to complete a 2 door car....take a serious look at the 4 doors.

I picked up a really clean 67 belvedere 4 door for a down the road 66-70 two door project. In the mean time, the 4 door is getting a 512 stroker, 4 speed, 3:54 dana 60 and 4 wheel disc brakes. In my opinion, I can enjoy it now, and it will later donate it's underpinnings (driveline and substructure) to the eventual 2 door project. If I choose something other than a 66-67, then I can sell the sheetmetal to finance new sheetmetal.
