68 GTX Front Grill photo

Looking to see if anyone has a closeup shot of a 68 GTX, front grill. Mine isn’t bad but the paint has faded and I’m not sure which part, gets painted what. Any pics/info would be appreciated.

So it’s looking like the out edge/rim is silver and the inside is a shade of black. Am I close? Lol

It's actually a two-piece deal, riveted together.
It's not quite black-black. Hard to describe....
Outer rim is anodized "chrome" to match the headlight bezels. Inner "rim" is painted argent silver.
I have a ton of pics in garages and such on here and of course, Google is your friend too.

Sorry Ed, I shoulda been a little more specific. I meant the inner plastic (type) part. Tried Google but the pics aren’t close up enough. I think yours actually may do it. Very nice 68 BTW

Close. The inner portion is more charcoal/gray.

This one is NOS, picture is pretty accurate for color. As Ed stated, color is argent silver, but photo doesn't show fact that it is smooth, not textured.

There is also a 10-year old video of the car on Youtube, with some good close ups of the grille. Shows the contrast between the argent silver outer edge, and the gray plastic of the grill itself. Check out "1968 Plymouth GTX Super Commando." Got the car back after selling it 22 years earlier thanks to that video post...
