I have a hurst v gate shifter 4 speed in my 68 gtx the original owner said it was put in at the dealership I didn't think they made those shifters in 68 anybody no thanks

Hurst V Gate
I think; Hurst vertical gate shifters were made in the late 60's, I remember them in the early 70's for sure, but I doubt any dealership would have installed them, but I've heard of weirder thing from dealers, I worked for a dealership group for over 20+ years, in Facility Management, most my friends were all old techs & parts guys, they had some great stories about the old days... Heres some old Hurst advert's & Linda Vaughn for shits & giggles.... I couldn't find a old V-Gate advert. sorry...
