68 GTX metal seat tag

Found this metal tag stapled to the rear seat lower half.
Does anyone know what the " LSI2577XX5X " is, decode?
The car did not have a fender tag. I'm trying to get the history and options identified.

It could depend upon the year. Here's my '70 T/A's bucket seat backs. A little different format on each, but each has a part number (2942602 and ...3 or ...8?) and date (1-19-70 and 70). I was told the characters in the lower left are vendor codes.
