I’ve owned this car since 1971 but it’s time to let her go to a new home. Numbers matching car with only 2500 miles on a ground up restoration. With 60k original miles it is a low mileage vehicle. The original 440 in this car is stroked to a 494 with 554 hp. It has a OEM Six Pack setup on the car that is not original to the GTX. That includes an OEM fiberglass hood and air cleaner. I put this setup on the vehicle in 1972 because I loved the performance and look of the entire setup. Just about everything that counts has been rebuilt or refreshed. She has had the original transmission rebuilt and new 391 sure grip gears. A 7 quart Miloden oil pan and a Mr. Gasket electric fuel pump with all new fuel lines. Hooker Competition ceramic headers with Flowmaster exhaust. MSD electronic ignition. Automatic 727 Torqeflight, power front brakes, manual steering. Steering box has been rebuilt and light suspension rebuild. The car is very straight with new metallic pearl burgundy color paint. It’s original color from the factory was maroon. New wheels and tires all the way around with with Cragar mags and Goodyear RWL tires. The original interior is in the car but recovered in leather - I picked the hide out myself. Original headliner in perfect condition. The bumpers and tail pipes have been rechromed. New carpet. All the gauges work - the heat gauge for some reason doesn’t warm all the way up. Original radiator was restored and triple cored. The trunk pan has been replaced as well as the r/l lower quarters. No plastic on the car. Fender tag is there and I have the broadcast sheet as well as the dyno records and some receipts. Clean title. I’m sure I’m missing something important that people will want to know. I can be reached via pm or [email protected]. The car is located in Orange County, CA. My asking price is $55k. No trades.
