68 Non-rally tach wiring

I have factory non-rally tach in 1968 GTX, trying to figure out the wiring. Believe that Dark Blue wire connects to the terminal on the left (12V power from the fuse box?), and the other stud on the right (with the black plastic cover threaded on) receives the Grey wire for the tach signal (negative side of coil coming thru firewall hole).

Some photos I've seen show a spade lug on this, but mine doesn't have it, wanted to make sure I had the wiring correct before I hooked it up and burnt something up.

Can someone confirm this or show a photo of a factory setup?

Here is my 69. I had to search quit a bit before I found a source identifying the terminals. Can't remember where I found it. Spade goes to coil negative
