Hey, i need to take off the dash pad to paint it can some one tell me how to go about it,thanks

There are nuts behind the pad to remove. Just feel for them and use a long extension.
Its a back breaking & hand scratching P.I.A. Have fun.

One of those really long, flexible extensions will help. I think the nuts are 3/8". I found the best tool was a 1/4" drive socket with a 4" long flex extension followed by different lenghths of extensions for each individual one. You will have to do this by feel and use some dum-dum in the socket when reinstalling to hold the nut. It's not as hard as it sounds, but you will have to remove the radio and loosen the heater control.

There are 6 3/8's nuts on the backside, 1 on either side of the heat controls, 1 at each end a couple of inches in from end and 1 each side at the middle.
This should help.
