68 Satellite seat info

My 68 Satellite project came without front or rear seats in it. What years and models seats would be a direct replacements? Thanks for any help.

1968 and 1969 are direct fit, 1970 will fit but the seat releases are in a different location.

I'd say 68 and 69 have the same frames. 70 went to high backs and the 66/67 didn't have the safety catch for the seat back. If you just need to throw some seats in it I think you can use up to 74 B/E body seats but not sure.

If you have an original bench and want to put buckets make sure you reinforce the floor for the extra studs. If you just drill a hole and bolt it up you will eventually fatigue and crack the floor around the hole you drilled. Weld a piece of 1/8" plate to the floor and drill through that.

Also, 4 dr rear seat bottom cushions are different. Specifically, the corners are more rounded to allow easier access.
