68 sport satellite hood emblem

Does anyone know where or how to get the 383 insert in the hood emblem for my 68 sport satellite? Picture for example, mine is missing the numbers.

There was a guy on eBay making ( or selling anyway) bad re-pops, but I have not seen them in a while. The originals were on a piece of foil and the fakes were on vinyl and very obviously missed the mark.

You best bet is keep on the lookout for a good used piece. In the mean time, pick up a crusty 318 one cheap and practice with a heat gun and an exacto knife in getting the foil off in one piece.

There's no cheap about it, guys want over a hundred dollars for a mediocre one. It's crazy that there's no other options. It would be really nice to be able to remake the foil insert...
