I am a long time Mopar guy, but new to the forum. I just acquired a 68 Super Bee hemi 4 speed that has been in a barn for 22 years. Real J code used as a drag car for years with a lot of work to do. Question: in the book "Hemi, The Ulltimate American V-8", the author says that there was no badging on the 68 hemi Super Bee, "None of the 1968 Super Bees had exterior engine badges." Guess I have to assume that is a fact? Thanks. Piney 120

I was curious, so did some diggin' myself. Found two sites that said something about lack of badging. If you do a Google-image search on "1968 Hemi SuperBee", almost all the pictures show no badges:

This site says no exterior engine badging on the '68 Hemi:

This sexy beast only has a "HEMI" badge, but I don't see the other SuperBee badges:

That thing is beautiful. Love those round side-marker lamps and grid pattern between the headlamps on each side.

Side-note: This site says it received "ScatPack" emblems on grill & trunk in '69:

Let us know what you find out for sure from the Mopar gurus! :)

We need some pictures, pictures ,pictures! Sounds like you have your self a very nice car or will once restored. How much of the car is missing?

BTW here are a couple pictures I picked up off the web.

Notice those badges are placed slightly differently.

To my eye, they look like Charger badges, bu then again, I aint no 68 Hemi expert, no how.

'Rebel' has it right..The emblem behind the marker light is what I remember.
