Hey guys I'm getting ready to start on the body of my Bee and Im thinking of doing skins instead of whole quarters on the back as the rust is limited to the typical bottom and over the wheel arch. My question is do the skins break over the body line across the top or do the follow it? I cant tell from any of the pictures as they just show it from the side. And I was looking at Goodmarks, any good? The cost is just so much more affordable than whole quarters. Thanks, Wesley

Sorry, should have posted this in paint and body. Dong that now

more affordable, but a pain in the *ss to get them right. Lots more welding, and unless your a good bodyman or good back yarder that does bodywork enough to be good at it, stick to full quarters. I have had several guys bring me their rides after they decided to save some money and buy skins. Everyone one of them warped the panels, which created a lot more work for me. I prefer full quarters, unless nothing is available. Goodmark panels aren't made by Goodmark or Golden Star, so you never know who is punching them out. Last I heard for a 70 Coronet, they were nothing great, and took at least a few days to make fit half way decent. I personally would only be buy AMD Full Quarters! Here's a link, or find your supplier. Save yourself a lot of headaches. Just my 2 cents!

Thanks, as the day gets closer Im leaning more toward full quarters. Its gonna take me a little longer to save up for but I agree I think it will be worth it.

spend a little more now to save a lot later....... not to mention a much nicer job, which in the end is most important

yeah thats what im thinking. I plan on having this car for a very long time so i think it will be worth it in the long run to spend more now and have a better finish in the end.
