My buddy had 15x10's with 5.5 back spacing and then he bought 295/50/15's to put on it. Initially they fit and looked good.. But then on his 1.5 mile ride to his house. This happened. Only on the passenger side. So he went back and they warrantied the tire and gave him 255/50/15's and no issues with them. This was a brand new tire.I'm switching to the classic Magnum 500 from year one. 15x7 on front. any advice on putting 15x10 on rear. what spacing ??
Thank you

thank youThe bigger the steel wheels get the heavier they get. Like over 30 pounds EACH for 15x8. This just lowers the performance of your engine and braking system. Plus look at the wheel above, it looks awful with how deep set it is.
You asked for advise, I like 15x7 wheels on all 4 corners. Or even 15x6 on front. This is just one opinion.
Thank you,I have a 69' Bee, and I'm running a 15x10 on the rear of my car. 5.5 backspacing with a 295/50. My car has HD springs with a small lowering block. I had the slightest bit of rubbing on the inside of the wheel well. Only under hard cornering though. I added a small 1/4 billet spacer for at the track and couldn't be happier with the large rear tires. Coronet/Super Bee's have huge rear wheel wells, you can stuff a big tire in there.
Here's a link to my build....
