Anybody know what colors the 69 1/2 Superbee M Code cars were available in? I'm thinking they were not available in all the colors offered in the 69 model year?
Well, as someone that sold them new I can give you some insight on the colors.
When they scheduled these cars for production and since they were a late introduction in the model year the inentions were to build a bunch of car for sales bank and they were all going to be built in one of four color which were also new colors..... ....Plymouth had the same colors but they had a different name for them as they also did the next year with the Hi-Impact colors.

D, I know what you meant but just to clarify....
Dodge used F6 for their green. Plymouth used 99/97/97E for their Rallye green.
Hemi Orange was only for Dodges. Vitamin C orange was on Plymouths.
Neither the greens or oranges were available on the other make that year. (No V2 Plymouths, no K2 Dodges. No F6 Plymouths. No 97 Dodges) However both colors can be found on other cars in their respective line.
Bahama Yellow can be found on other Plymouths. Butterscotch was available only on A12 Bees. You will not find this color on non-A12 Bees or other Coronets. There are some that claim there is a Dart painted Butterscotch but the documenation I've seen isn't definitive.
F6 was available as early as December on Dodges. So F6 was not a color released specifically for the A12s but it was a 'newer' color when they came out in March.
My two cents....

i was getting my 68 hemi rr confused with rr1 burgundy metallic.
green was very popular due to the Vietnam era and army colors.my rr was bought by a guy going into Vietnam in 69 3 weeks prior. F3 frost green metallic.
Since Vietnam was not a popular war and green continued to be a prevelent color after American involvement in VN, I'm not sure of the basis for your statement.
Do you attribute the popularity of blue cars to the Air Force?
When I was selling new Dodges 68-74 the guys returning from the service certainly did not want a green car as they all said they were sick of seeing green.
