So I'm looking at getting a 69 coronet 4 door parts car. It seems very complete trim wise and interior. My question is how many parts are interchangeable? Or maybe an easier question what's not interchangeable. I'm assuming grill fenders and windshield trim things like that would be identical. What about the rest of the trim/ moldings? Interior? Sorry for such a broad question just trying to make a decision before it's gone. Thanks for the help in advance!

Window trim is different
4 Dr windshield /rear glass is taller making inside trim different also

By any chance is this the car you're considering(see pic) ? Picture is of the Craigslist ad main pic. Don't worry I'm not trying to buy it just wanted to know. Because the seller was non responsive of my attempts and I gave up.

As flypaper mentioned both front and rear windshield related parts will differ from the 2 doors. Including the interior a pillar trim. The only part of the vent window assembly is the same are the lower chrome glass base. The vent window glass itself is taller. Pivots are different.

Body: fenders are the same, deck lid is the same, hood is the same, bumpers/brackets both front & rear are the same, grille, grille valance, hood latch tray all the same. Door handles both interior and exterior are the same.

Yep that's the one. Well I hope he responds but it's likely already sold then. Either way good info and I'll keep looking. Complete 4 doors are way more in my price range right now so I was planning on daily driving it for a while till I had some room for another project.

Wow I am good lol. No seriously I just checked my text log and I sent him/her a message on November 1st. My text I sent was, quote:

"Hello, I'm interested in the '69 Dodge Coronet 4 door you have listed on Craigslist, need to know some info.

Thanks"

His/her reply was, quote:

"What's good"

WTF kinda reply is that?? What's good?? Only a two word reply?? Immediate red flag for me so I didn't seek any further. I believe that was their request in the CL ad, was to reply via text. Also I've seen that ad disappear and re-appear. And now currently it has just been removed.

Another thing that I never understood was the protocol of "If the ad is still don't ask if it's still for sale" in which they had that in their listing. Why is that so offensive? Do most people immediately pull down their ad when they sell an item? My guess is no. But out of respect I follow this ridiculous rule and tell that I'm interested and need info.

Good luck in your research. Just curious what's your budget for a 1968-70 B Body 4 door?
