69 440 block freez pulg ?

iam replacing the 3- 1 5/8 freez plugs on eac side of me 440 block, and noticed the 3 on one side had shallow plugs in it i repaced the all with standered plugs any ideas should i have used the shallow ones

Don't see why not use the deep ones.........

X2, less of a chance to have them cocked in the hole. One or two will be a bitch to change if you need to later on down the road. They are too close to the cylinder, and can't go in all the way to rotate and pry out.
