69 B-Body Starter Relay?

Hey Guys I Noticed The Bottom Right Spade Terminal On My Starter Relay Is Grounded By The Previous Owner With An Alligator Clip. What Would Be The Purpose Of This?

I Noticed Some Starter Relays i Googled Dont Have The Spade Connector..

Also Is There Any Sort Of Neutral Safety Switch Anywhere On The 69 Chargers.

The Car Was Converted To a 4 -Speed

Auto's have a neutral safety switch. Standards do not, so he grounded the spade instead of swapping it out. An alligator clip though.. lol

Well that could be a good anti-theft device !!

^ This. Put a bat handle toggle under the dash wired to ground. I'd do it on a bracket just up from the bottom channel, able to reach but out of sight.
